Youth Achievement Program

The Youth Achievement Program provides the opportunity for young people to formulate realistic career goals and improve their academic, personal and social skills. Qualified participants include adolescents and young adults aged 16-21 years. They will have the opportunity to obtain their high school diploma, serve an internship, and gain valuable professional experience as a volunteer.  Appropriate training, counseling and mentoring services are provided, along with job coaching and job searching assistance to achieve their completion of academic and professional aspirations.

Those enrolled will receive a $75 weekly stipend, based on attendance and performance as well as complimentary bus tickets for travel costs. For additional information, call us at (856) 365-8989.

Youth Activities

Camden County OEO hosts youth activities including weekly karate classes, a cheerleading program and a variety of group field trips to cultural and recreational sites.

Baseball Program

The South Jersey Pride Baseball Club provides children and adolescents the opportunity to enjoy baseball and receive mentorship. This program represents the values of youth advancement, in which the youths learn valuable skills facilitated by a sport and enhance their social interactions. Further, studies have indicated that extracurricular activities increase the academic success of children.
