CCCOEO Celebrates Weatherization Day!
Pennsauken, NJ – October 20, 2024 – The Camden County Council on Economic Opportunity (CCCOEO) is excited to announce its celebration of Weatherization Day on October 30, 2024, with a special event highlighting the success of the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP). The event will take place at 5287 Route 70, Pennsauken, NJ 08109, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. During this time, CCCOEO will be accepting applications for new clients looking to improve their home’s energy efficiency at no cost. Income-eligible homeowners and renters are encouraged to attend and learn more about these valuable services.
A Legacy of Service: Over 40 Years of Weatherization Success
For over four decades, CCCOEO has been a cornerstone in the Camden County community, providing essential services through the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP). The program is designed to help reduce energy costs and improve the comfort and safety of homes by offering free energy efficiency services. These services include insulation, heater repair or replacement, refrigerator replacement, door and window repair or replacement, and much more.

This program has helped countless families save money, stay warm in the winter, and live more comfortably in their homes,” said James Wynn, Executive Director of CCCOEO. “Our Weatherization Day event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the progress we’ve made and continue to help more residents in need.”
